Posted by State-owned telecom major BSNL has launched its latest long-term prepaid plan in India. The Rs 997 prepaid plan is now available in all telecom circles and brings with it 3GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling benefits, and brings with it the validity of 180 days. The plan also brings a number of SMS benefits. The latest BSNL’s long term Rs 997 plan directly competes with Bharti Airtel’s Rs 998 prepaid plan and also Vodafone and Reliance Jio’s Rs 999 prepaid plans. The Jio plan offers validity of just 90 days while the new BSNL plan brings in the validity of 180 days.
The new Rs 997 prepaid plan from BSNL brings unlimited voice calls to BSNL connections and other networks as well. The calls are applicable even when in roaming. The plan with unlimited calls works even in Mumbai and Delhi circles and comes with a daily FUP of 250 minutes per day.
The plan includes 3GB of daily high-speed data and the speed is reduced after the FUP is reached, to 80kbps.
Furthermore, the prepaid recharge provides 100 SMS messages per day and brings with it the validity of 180 days. This BSNL plan also offers PRBT benefits for two months. As we mentioned earlier, the plan is available for users in all telecom circles across India. The recharges for the plan has become available starting November 10.
